The Mercury hunting self-loading shotgun Xtreme Max5 is specifically designed for camouflage in the wild and is ideally suited for hunting from blinds. The extended magazine provides an increased firing capacity (4+1), which can be particularly advantageous when hunting birds such as crows, pigeons, ducks, or geese.
The weapon is equipped with a synthetic stock featuring an original Max5 camo pattern. This pattern is specifically designed to be barely noticeable in natural environments, such as reeds or under branches.
Another feature of the shotgun is the fast-loading system, which allows for quick and convenient reloading with just one hand. This can be crucial in situations where speed is of the essence.
The SmartMAX piston technology ensures reliable operation of the weapon with various shot loads ranging from 24g to 52g. This offers flexibility in terms of ammunition used and allows the shotgun to be adapted to different hunting situations.
Furthermore, the self-loading shotgun is designed for use with steel shot and comes with five interchangeable chokes, allowing the shooter to adjust the shot pattern as needed.
For added safety, a trigger safety is located on the trigger guard and operated by a push button. This prevents accidental firing and contributes to the safe handling of the weapon.
