Glock 26 Gen4: improved user-friendliness

Weight and size adjustments

To make carrying Glock weapons even more comfortable, Glock has lightened the Model 17 by approximately 100 g and shortened the barrel and grip by approximately 26 mm each.

Standard equipment

The Glock 26 Gen4 comes standard with height- and side-adjustable plastic sights and a 2.0 kg trigger spring.

Innovations of the Gen4 models

The Gen4 pistol models also offer several innovations that make them even more user-friendly. The Gen4 design is based on a Modular Back Strap (MBS) grip with an integrated Short Frame control block. The MBS grip allows the shooter to adjust the grip circumference to their individual hand size. Changing the grip panels is quick and easy. Interchangeable magazine holder

The Gen4 magazine holder is interchangeable and has an enlarged contact surface. If needed, it can also be mounted on the right side of the pistol without the use of additional parts.

Improved grip

Similarly, the grip and interchangeable grip panels of the Gen4 pistol models feature a textured surface (Gen4 RTF surface). This improves grip during shooting.

Recoil reduction

The Gen4 models are equipped with a tandem closing spring, which reduces recoil and increases the spring’s lifespan.
